Halloween Party


Today, on Tuesday October 27, 2009 American Corner hosted students to celebrate and to talk about Halloween Holiday.
There were 27 students from the State National and also FLEX alumnus. Our American quests; Bethany, Corey and Olivia were very happy to see so many students who wanted to know about this interesting holiday. They talked about the creation of the Halloween. Students were very eager to know about this holiday. Students actively participated in discussion, the quests of our meeting were very happy to know that Tajik students are being an inquisitive and they have shown a deep interest in Americans culture and traditions. The quests were pleasantly surprised by the organization of the holiday, how students decorated the pumpkin, they tried to make hospitable atmosphere in order quests could feel comfortable and feel that they are in their home country.
Quests were very thankful for activeness and hospitability.

Result: This meeting made both side happy and recognized that such meetings help them to make friends and to improve their language speaking skills.
